About QALD
When the cold chain breaks, the consequences are real but often invisible: medicines that lose efficacy, food that spoils, and deviations discovered too late to act on. At the same time, regulatory requirements and documentation can be time-consuming in a busy day-to-day operation. QALD was founded to address both, to make safe medicines and safe food the default rather than the exception, and to make it easier for more operators to deliver on quality. The team behind QALD combines experience from community pharmacy, the pharmaceutical industry, and logistics with technical expertise in software development and artificial intelligence. We understand the requirements you operate under and build solutions that make them easier to manage. Our platform consists of purpose-built temperature sensors and hubs installed where goods are stored and transported, in vehicles, in warehouses, and in pharmacy refrigerators, together with a web platform with full data history for management and quality leads, and a driver application designed to be seamless in use for people out on the road. Together, they provide real-time monitoring and automated quality reporting across the distribution chain, from warehouse through transport to end user. The goal is to make documentation accessible, automated and efficient, turning it into a working tool rather than an obstacle.
